Certainly Blessed
Wow...these past few days have been really busy...I have busy trying to get all of the "business things" done but it has been really tough with the number of interruptions I have had...and thank goodness... I have so many great family members and friends that my phone has been constantly ringing .... what a great problem to have... I remember when my father in law was so very ill and we took him back to the U of I for what turned out to be the last time... there were lots of us in the waiting room when the Chief of Staff came in to talk to us... he talked to us about how "impressed" he was with the family and how "blessed" my father in law was to have such a family....many times he said he couldn't find someone to claim a body and how refreshing it was to see children who cared..... I too am that lucky... I have great family and great friends... I have two children that I physically gave birth too and many children and grandchildren that I only gave my heart too... I have so many things to be thankful for.... the newest being Mr. Mason.... I am very lucky... I know that each of you will do what you can and that you will do what is best for Neal and Molly (since I really won't know which end is up) .....please feel free to call, but on the other hand please don't be offended if we don't get right back to you... please know that each and every one of you is important to us but right now things are just a little OVERWHELMING!! It is back to "One Day At A Time" for the Yates'. Thanks for understanding....... and just a few last minute notes...No Tim H. you can not see "them" even though they will be gone shortly.... Arlene...I love you dearly and I am so glad you came to see me.(thank you for the "gift"... nothing can compare....When Mol learned you were coming she said "Gee Mom you should have gotten cancer sooner if it would have brought Arlene here...(not sure you are worth that), and thanks to Carol, Jolynn, Cheryl, and Teresa, who have shared their experiences with me...let's just get on with it....
