Post Op Day 3

Not much to report today. Neal worked from home and I shouted out food and drink orders for him to fill. He makes a pretty good home health nurse in case anybody should need assistance. Each day makes me more anxious to get the bandages off and the drains out. I do have some numbness under my left arm, but that should improve with time. Several people were wondering about the "greenish tint" I had after surgery. I guess it had something to do with the contrast they used when they did the Sentinel Node Biopsy. Apparently it is not unusual, it just looks strange. I am scheduled to see my surgeon Thursday afternoon and hopefully I will be a little more free to move around after that. I feel a little cabin fever creeping in. Hopefully the forecast for Friday will hold and we can get out for a little while. Molly has been a big help around here and is doing really well. She had friends out last night and Neal lost $5.00 to Matt on the football game. It's really pretty normal around here which we is how we want it to be. Again, thanks for the food, visits, calls and cards. It really does help us to know we have so many people in our corner. Also, please feel free to share this blog with anybody that would like to read it. We would rather everyone have the facts instead of someone elses fiction.

  5. Lori:
My heart is breaking for you, Neal and Molly. The last thing you need is more troubled waters. Your strength and your faith in God has definitely been challenged these last few years. I wish I could just take all the pain away. You are such an inspiration to me and I am so proud of you and Neal for the strength and courage you have shown. With your love for each other and your Faith in the Lord, you will overcome all of these uphill battles. I couldn't be any prouder to call you my Aunt Lori!
    I love you so much!
